VSK Software Wins Special Start-up Award at “Auf IT gebaut”

Munich, April 26, 2023 – At BAU 2023, VSK Software received the special “Start-up” award in the German competition “Auf IT gebaut – Bauberufe mit Zukunft” (Building with IT – Construction Careers with a Future). The award recognizes the innovative BIM model checking software BIM.permit, which aims to make it faster and easier to digitize regulatory requirements and verify compliance with them.

The “Auf IT gebaut – Bauberufe mit Zukunft” competition is held under the patronage of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. Each year, an expert jury recognizes outstanding young professionals and start-ups in the construction industry whose innovative digital solutions contribute to the planning, construction and operation of buildings.

With its no-code approach, BIM.permit makes it easy to translate building regulations into digital checking rules. Open checking formats ensure that checking processes and their results can be documented and stored transparently.

The software is accessible directly through a web browser, allowing all stakeholders to use it without complex installation procedures. This makes BIM.permit particularly suitable for use in public building authorities.

“Our goal is to significantly reduce the time and complexity involved in building permit procedures,” says André Vonthron, founder and Managing Director of VSK Software GmbH. “We want to achieve this in two ways: first, by enabling authorized building design professionals to reliably and quickly pre-check their models, and second, by automating the approval process itself. Receiving the special Start-up Award is a fantastic recognition of our approach and a tremendous motivation for the entire team!”“
