Together with the engineering firm HALFKANN+KIRCHNER, VSK Software has reached the final round of the BIM Champions Competition 2026 in the category Technology\/Innovation\/Solution with the project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cFeasibility Study: Digital Fire Protection Concept in the BIM Model.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is funded by the Ministry for Regional Identity, Local Government, Building and Digitalization of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project focuses on the automatic detection of fire protection requirements through computer-assisted verification methods. These methods are intended to support fire protection planners in the future by providing rule-based assistance when creating fire protection concepts using BIM models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A project video will be now submitted and will be available for viewing on the buildingSMART YouTube channel in April 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The announcement of the winner and the award ceremony will take place on May 12, 2026, in Berlin on the eve of the buildingSMART Germany User Day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bochum, November 11, 2025.
